Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on residential conversion or high-rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of Gateway Submissions and compliance with the Building Safety Act.
• Familiarity with high-risk building regulations and working with the Building Safety Regulator.

Artisan Recruit is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a major residential conversion project for a well–established building contractor operating along the South Coast.

Project Overview:

Scope: 190 residential units including a new 3–storey extension

Location: Portsmouth

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the project from inception to handover

Oversee construction of new 3–storey extension and internal conversion works

Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and local authorities

Manage site teams, health & safety, and daily site operations

Ensure compliance with Building Safety Act and all relevant high–risk building legislation

Prepare and manage Gateway submissions (1, 2, and 3) under the Building Safety Regulator (BSR)

Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and schedules

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager on residential conversion or high–rise projects

Strong knowledge of Gateway Submissions and compliance with the Building Safety Act

Familiarity with high–risk building regulations and working with the Building Safety Regulator

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Platinum), and First Aid preferred
