Project Manager - Commercial / Industrial Construction - Yorkshire - Permanent

Location: Pontefract (site-based, with some regional travel)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £68,000 - £80,000 DOE + Package

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading main contractor with a strong reputation in delivering commercial and industrial build projects. Typical schemes include steel frame warehouses, logistics hubs, and large-scale commercial units across the Yorkshire region.

Responsibilities

• Leading project delivery, managing programme, cost, and quality
• Overseeing site teams and subcontractors
• Driving H&S compliance and company standards
• Chairing progress meetings and liaising with clients/design teams
• Managing project documentation, reporting, and forecasting
• Providing leadership and mentorship to site staff

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Project Manager in commercial or industrial build
• Experience delivering steel frame construction projects valued £10m+
• Strong leadership, organisational, and client-facing skills
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and regulations
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)
• Degree/HNC in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred)
