Job Title: Project Manager (Construction)
Location: Northampton based - Covering the Leicester to Newcastle
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: 40 hours a week - can be flexible on start/finish times

About the role

Are you an experienced Contracts or Project Manager within the construction sector seeking a new opportunity that promises career growth, a supportive working atmosphere, and the chance to leverage established client relationships and stable projects?

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee high-profile contracts across the Southwest regions, working with the UK's Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping provider. In this role, you will manage daily contract operations, ensure performance and delivery, foster client relationships, manage teams, ensure health and safety compliance, and optimize financial outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager
  • Ability to manage time and workload independently
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK; occasional overnight stays
  • Site qualifications: SMSTS and CSCS Black Card (or ability to obtain)
  • Based near Northampton; weekly office visits; remaining time site-based

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Maintain project-specific tracking sheets for reporting
  • Manage client communication and coordination
  • Collaborate with team members and subcontractors
  • Ensure health and safety compliance across sites
