About the Opportunity

The Repository Infrastructure Framework project involves engineering, design, and construction at the Nuclear Waste Services Low Level Waste Repository site in Drigg, Cumbria. The role focuses on managing construction projects within this framework and future projects at the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver construction projects and tasks across the Contract Framework.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Collaborate within Jacobs to enhance service delivery and project capability.
  • Ensure project execution meets or exceeds delivery commitments.
  • Maintain and develop the capabilities of the delivery team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the Work Act, CDM, Machineries Directive, and COSHH.
  • Produce and monitor accurate financial forecasts for the project.
  • Coordinate resources and interface with supporting functions.
  • Develop project and portfolio strategies with clients and JV partners.
  • Drive project performance and report on key indicators.
  • Incorporate best practices and lessons learned into project delivery.

Requirements

  • Construction experience in a nuclear environment.
  • Familiarity with NEC 4 contracts.
  • Good knowledge of CEMAR.
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical or business discipline.
  • Understanding of financial and commercial aspects of project management.
  • APM qualification or equivalent.
