Project Manager Industrial Build

Suffolk/Cambridgeshire area

Ridgeway & Co are working with an established and reputable main contractor who are seeking a Project Manager to take the lead on a new-build industrial project based in the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and experienced construction professional to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial and industrial work across the East of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring quality, programme, and cost objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full project leadership and client liaison from start to finish

  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners

  • Manage project programme, site logistics, and quality control

  • Ensure health & safety compliance and site documentation is maintained

  • Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management

  • Support procurement strategy and oversee subcontractor performance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering new-build industrial or commercial schemes

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and programme control

  • Ability to manage and motivate site teams while maintaining a collaborative approach

  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualified

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Experience delivering steel-frame or industrial units preferred
