Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Project Manager within PDP to lead delivery of complex projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality.

You will build high-performing teams, foster strong client relationships, and apply governance and controls to ensure outcomes that meet business objectives. Hybrid working and professional development are supported.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction or related discipline.
• Working towards or holding a professional PM qualification (APM PMQ/ChPP) is desirable.
• Experience leading projects through full lifecycle with scope, schedule, cost and risk focus.
• Experience in engineering, infrastructure, defence, nuclear, transport or energy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality and stakeholder expectations.
• Build and lead high-performing project teams and mentor colleagues.
• Develop strong client relationships and act as trusted partner to ensure value delivery.
• Apply governance, controls and commercial management in line with contracts and industry best practice.
• Champion safety culture and integrate health, safety, security and wellbeing considerations.
• Proactively manage risks, opportunities, dependencies and change for informed decisions.
• Oversee procurement activities and subcontractor performance where required.
• Monitor and report project performance against KPIs to clients and leadership.
• Share knowledge and support development of colleagues across the Practice.
