A leading global health institute is seeking a Project Manager for Commissioned Research and Policy Advocacy. This full-time role involves leading health consultancy projects, developing advocacy strategies, and engaging stakeholders to enhance the institute's impact in the UK health sector. Ideal candidates will possess strong project management abilities and a background in public health or related fields.
Position Summary:
Team: Centre for Research Evidence & Skills Training (CREST) / Impact & Engagement
Location: UK; the position holder is expected to work from the London office 2+ days per week
Employment Duration: 2 years with the possibility of extension
Type of employment: Full-time, fixed-term
Salary: £55,000 - £64,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Start date: ASAP

This role has two aspects:
The George Institute seeks a motivated candidate experienced in policy engagement, advocacy, and project management in the consultancy sector.
The Project Manager will lead UK consultancy and commissioned research projects, manage business development and client engagement, and support research proposal development. The role also involves leading initiatives and developing processes to support global projects. Additionally, as UK Policy and Advocacy Advisor, the role involves implementing policy engagement and advocacy strategies, building relationships with stakeholders, and increasing research impact.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in health research project management, business development, and advocacy within the UK health sector, with experience in large tenders and high-level stakeholder engagement.
This position initially reports to the Chief of Staff and the Director, Impact & Engagement, with broad consultation across teams including the UK Executive Director and Chief Scientist.
