Job description

Midlands-based projects | Multi-million-pound schemes | Direct client engagement

I'm working with a well-established consultancy-style setup who are on the lookout for a driven and commercially aware Project Manager to lead major construction and fit-out projects, primarily across the leisure and hospitality sector.

The projects are varied, high-value, and fast-paced - this would suit someone who's comfortable working across multiple sites and stakeholders, and who thrives in a collaborative, energetic environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, from initial scope to handover
  • Developing detailed delivery plans, programmes, and costings (alongside QS support where needed)
  • Managing internal and external teams - from architects and engineers through to contractors and suppliers
  • Chairing regular site and client meetings, with responsibility for documentation and reporting
  • Overseeing all health, safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Tender management and contractor appointment
  • Budget control, variation tracking, and financial reporting

What They're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering construction projects (ideally client-side or within a consultancy environment)
  • Excellent working knowledge of JCT contracts and the construction process from design through delivery
  • Confident communicator - able to run meetings, manage expectations, and keep things moving
  • Organised, proactive, and hands-on - able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Professional memberships like MCIOB or MRICS are a bonus, but not a dealbreaker
  • Full driving licence needed due to travel between sites
