TRIbuild Solutions are hiring a Project Manager on behalf of our client - a leading civil engineering and infrastructure specialist with over 40 years of experience across water, transport, built environment, and energy sectors.
The Role:
We're looking for a dynamic Project Manager to oversee multiple civil engineering projects from design to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget. You'll work closely with site delivery teams and surveyors while driving commercial performance and maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
️ Manage project costs, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting.
️ Develop and maintain construction programmes.
️ Lead site meetings, ensuring accurate record-keeping and action follow-ups.
️ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
️ Ensure compliance with company procedures, health, safety, and environmental standards.
️ Provide cost-effective engineering solutions and resolve design challenges.
️ Produce risk assessments, method statements, and site waste management plans.
️ Manage subcontractors and drive commercial efficiency.
About You:
Essential:
️ Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
️ Strong knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, NEC contracts, and cost control.
️ Proficient in Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
️ MEICA capabilities.
️ CSCS Manager's card, SMSTS, and NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
️ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
️ Experience managing heavy civils, rail, water, and utilities projects.
️ Sub-contract management and P6 programming experience.
️ Temporary works coordinator/supervisor experience.
Desirable:
CEng MICE.
Knowledge of JCT contracts.
Thames Water and rail project experience.
NRSWA and Lifting AP training.
