A leading company in civil engineering is looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee a major project involving the construction of bridges and underpasses in Winchester. The successful candidate will bring extensive project management experience and oversee multiple teams, ensuring the timely delivery of project milestones over a 20-month period.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering projects.
• Experience managing operatives and procurement.
• Proven ability to deliver reports and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of 30-40 operatives.
• Oversee materials procurement and delivery schedules.
• Deliver progress reports to stakeholders.

Job description

Civil Engineering Project Manager required to manage a large civil engineering project in Winchester involving the construction of;

2 new bridges

4 precast concrete subways / underpasses

Miscellaneous smaller gantry bases / structures

The scope of works also includes FRC and Earthworks and thus we are looking for a candidate with broad and extensive experience of civil engineering projects.

The role will also include;

Day to day management of 30-40 operatives

Materials procurement

Managing delivery schedules to programme

Delivering reports

The successful candidate will be degree educated and be able to demonstrate at least 5 years experience in a similar role.

This is a Freelance role and anticipated to last over 20 months
