Job summary

MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major infrastructure team in Belfast. This temporary contract role covers delivery from planning through to completion, with hybrid working arrangements and a focus on safety, cost and schedule adherence.

You will coordinate diverse project teams, manage contracts and collaborate with stakeholders to keep the portfolio on track against milestones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience delivering projects in construction, civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, contracts, budgets and scheduling.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with multi-project oversight.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders.
• Knowledge of project processes and documentation; MS Project/MS Office proficiency.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or related field is advantageous.
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Project Manager - Construction/Civil (Immediate/urgent requirement), Belfast, Hybrid working arrangements.

An immediate temp contract opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a major infrastructure team in Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced Project Manager with a construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure background to take ownership of multiple projects in a busy, multidisciplinary environment.

You will lead projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring they are completed safely and to agreed cost, quality and programme milestones. Strong project planning and scheduling skills are essential, along with the ability to coordinate project teams, manage construction contracts, and keep multiple stakeholders aligned.

What you'll bring:

• At least 3 years' experience successfully managing projects within a construction, civil engineering or infrastructure environment.
• A strong understanding of construction project delivery, including contract management, project budgets, programme development and scheduling.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, monitor progress and keep delivery on track against key milestones.
• Confidence coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and building effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of project management processes, documentation and tools, including MS Project and the wider MS Office suite.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline would be advantageous.
• A full current driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
