Role Overview:

The Talent Management Project Manager sits within the Talent Planning team, leading global talent identification and succession planning initiatives. This team ensures Citi develops a pipeline of future-ready leaders to drive its business. It collaborates with broader HR functions to align talent strategies and executes key initiatives like the annual talent review. The role requires strong understanding of talent management best practices, stakeholder engagement, excellent communication, change management, data analysis, project management, and attention to detail.

What you'll be doing:

  • Translate business, market, and HR needs into a global talent management strategy.
  • Leverage data to provide insights on talent review and strategy.
  • Provide expertise on talent management practices to HR and business partners.
  • Ensure excellent delivery of initiatives through change and project management.
  • Collaborate globally with various partners to execute talent strategies.
  • Identify, assess, and develop talent, ensuring robust succession planning.
  • Design and communicate processes related to talent review and development.
  • Analyze and report on talent outcomes, tracking efficacy and controls.
  • Engage employees globally through ongoing communication.
  • Assess risks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, maintaining ethical standards.

What we'll need from you:

  • Experience in HR within financial services or similar complex organizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a global mindset, capable of navigating ambiguity and driving change.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Passion for talent development.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
