The Company
Our client, a successful operator in the energy sector, is looking to hire a Transition Manager. They are currently embarking on a new state-of-the-art energy facility, which will lead to a comprehensive business transformation.
The Role
As Transition Manager, you will lead projects impacting operational and maintenance teams. You will oversee the change management process for each project to ensure operational readiness. Working alongside a Business As Usual operational organization, you will develop key stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure changes are well communicated and effectively adopted. You will design and deliver the transition roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders across the business. Additionally, you will work closely with the Transition team to provide oversight of the projects, manage project governance, and report on risks, opportunities, and actions. Since my client is an operational business, you will creatively design, deliver, and manage change communications for each transitional project. You will also support other projects as needed within the wider transition team.
The Ideal Transition Manager
The ideal candidate will have experience working within an operational business, managing projects that impact operational teams. Proven experience in project management and change management is essential. Sectors of interest include power generation, energy, utilities, engineering, logistics, or experience gained from a management consulting firm. You should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be capable of creating content for various communication channels. Strong analytical skills are also required. The ability to work positively in a team environment is crucial.
