Job summary

Spinwell Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager for a 18-month contract, hybrid role based at Aldermaston and Reading, with 60% on-site work. DV clearance flexibility is preferred. You will manage governance, resources and risk across complex projects in the public sector.

Ideal candidates bring NEC contract experience, CSC awareness, and a background in security or hostile vehicle domains, with strong supply chain engagement and rapid delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• NEC Contract Management experience.
• Awareness of the construction phase (CSC card holder).
• Background in the security industry, hostile vehicle focus.
• Heavily engaging with supply chain.
• Ability to drive schedule, cost, manage complexity, risk and security mindset.
• Experience working for a complex organisation.
• Ability to pick things up quickly and run with projects.
• Technology background in electrical, rail, signalling or Underground.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects in accordance with requirements, constraints, time, cost and quality.
• Lead, coach and develop a team locally to deliver objectives safely and effectively.
• Maintain high standards in HSE and quality and be a great team player.
• Governance focus including compliance and reporting.
• Manage project resources (people, money).
• Lead project planning and Work Authorisation Documents (WAD).
• Lead and perform risk and opportunity identification and actions.
