The Transitions | Financial Engineering division, established in 2005, offers expertise to support public and private sector projects, integrating critical climate, energy, and environmental challenges into financial modelling. We help our clients develop strategies and execute operational action plans to reduce GHG emissions, lower dependency on fossil fuels, and adapt to climate change. We see no conflict between financial and environmental performance.
The climate team, part of Transitions | Financial Engineering, comprises professionals focusing on:
- ESG and CSR policies
- Decarbonisation pathways development
- Climate change adaptation strategies
- Decarbonisation strategies for both public and private entities at all scales all scales.
We Work With a Variety Of Stakeholders
- Real Estate: Social housing providers, developers, real estate investment funds
- Public Authorities: Intercommunal structures, municipalities, departments, regions and governments.
- Infrastructure-Related Organisations, etc.
- Other Companies: Those looking to enhance their practices and strategies (e.g., industrial firms)
The climate team at Egis Conseil is seeking a Project Manager based in London to assist the French team on a variety of engagements in France while also developing our services and expanding them locally in the UK. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in ESG, climate, and decarbonisation strategies for companies and local authorities.
Your optimism and strong commitment to finding concrete and innovative solutions to climate-related challenges, along with your technical skills, will be essential to your success.
Job Description
- You will lead a variety of consulting, project management, and technical expertise missions, primarily focusing on decarbonisation strategies for companies and local authorities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Management: Leading diverse studies, project management, supervising junior consultants, and producing reports
- Business Development: Supporting commercial development in both France and the UK, conducting market research, and leading bid responses
- Client Support: Providing creative and innovative solutions to clients
- Expertise Development: Contributing to expertise consolidation by developing dedicated methodologies and tools

- Carbon Footprint Assessments: Including critical reviews
- Decarbonisation Modelling: Developing action plans
- Resilience Audits and Action Plans: For buildings, infrastructure, and cities
- Training and Workshops: On carbon and climate issues
- ESG Grids Development: Impact analysis and transition strategies for companies
- Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies
- Additional Climate-Related Projects
Qualifications
- Project Management: Experience in leading and managing projects
- Dynamic and Adaptable: Ability to thrive in changing environments
- Client Relations: Strong client-facing skills
- Autonomy and Initiative: Self-starter with a proactive approach
- Written and Oral Communication: Excellent writing and synthesis skills
- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for teamwork
- Fluent English and French: Both written and spoken
- Knowledge of CSR and ESG Topics
- Curiosity and Openness: Willingness to explore new topics
- Masters degree would be beneficial, however isnt essential and relevant work experience will be taken in to account
- Skills in CSR, ESG criteria, and ISR labelling would be highly valued.
