Project Manager – Capital

Weir is seeking a skilled Project Manager – Capital Sales Projects to lead the end-to-end delivery of capital equipment and infrastructure projects. This role ensures timely, on-budget execution with top-tier quality, while managing cross-functional teams and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. You’ll also oversee warranty and refurbishment projects, driving continuous improvement and risk management across all phases of execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of capital sales, warranty, and refurbishment projects.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for seamless execution and timely completion of project milestones.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with contracts, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and manage project financials, including budgeting, invoicing, and forecasting in collaboration with Finance.
  • Ensure quality standards are met, conduct post-project reviews, and drive continuous improvement in project execution.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing capital equipment or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Visio to plan, track, and deliver complex capital projects efficiently.
  • Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM) and Certified Practicing Project Director (CPPD) – AIPM; Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
