You will manage a surveying team, ensuring effective delivery of projects and contract management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of residential buildings and energy efficiency measures. Overview of role:
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Assets Team to lead on delivering programmes of planned maintenance improvement works to the housing stock. Type of work includes client-side contract management of decent homes works and energy efficiency improvements to ensure the housing stock is kept in a good state of repair.
Responsible for a surveying team, you will facilitate the delivery of work programmes through external contractors, ensuring effective contract management processes and procedures are implemented. You will also provide advice and guidance both to your team and within the section on potential future work programmes.
You will need a good understanding of residential buildings, different construction types, common faults, remedies, and component life cycles. Plus have a good understanding of energy efficiency and potential improvement measures to support the organisation achieving EPC band C by 2030 and net zero carbon by 2041.
You’ll be passionate about improving the quality of our homes for the benefit of our customers and achieving value for money. As a manager you’ll be able to effectively lead and manage people.
