Overview

Contract: Permanent

Location: Hybrid (Head Office: Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne)

This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office 2-4 times per month with occasional travel to London

Hours per week: 30

Salary: Up to £30,694 pro rata (FTE £37,856) depending on experience

About the role

We’re excited to be looking for a Project Managerto join ourGovernment Programmes team to manage our Campaign for Learning projects and programmes.

You’ll be joining a dynamic team who are passionate about lifelong learning and committed to social inclusion.

As a Project Manager, you’ll successfully manage the delivery of our projects and programmes against key performance indicators so that more people and communities have access to transformative lifelong learning.

This role will report into the Senior Awarding Programme Manager while working with functional and product leads delivering against the Campaign for Learning’s business strategy, to ensure all business project objectives are clearly defined and understood.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Successfully deliver assigned social impact projects and programmes against key performance indicators
  • Manage and report progress against milestones on assigned projects and programmes
  • Create effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project approach is agreed, clear, and transparent with clearly defined next steps
  • Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder workshops
  • Identify risks to the delivery of projects and provide mitigation plans to minimise the impact to Campaign for Learning and NCFE

  • Proven experience that demonstrates a thorough understanding and application, of principles and methodologies and across the full project management lifecycle
  • Experience of working on projects that have delivered postiive outcomes
  • Ability to meet deadlines and develop project management reporting in a timely and effective manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and analytical skills
  • Proven experience of working with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority to senior level.
