Job summary

Mercury-Hampton-Ltd is a leading UK engineering business delivering building services and HVAC solutions. We are hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead client-facing projects across occupied commercial buildings, coordinating contractors and ensuring safety and timely delivery.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will plan, schedule and oversee aftersales, maintenance and service-related projects with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Services, HVAC, M&E or facilities management.
• Experience managing contractors on customer sites.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding CDM, RAMS and permit systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and project/CRM systems.
• SMSTS is advantageous.
• CSCS card or willingness to obtain one.
• Building Services, HVAC or M&E knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage service, maintenance, remedial and aftersales projects from initiation through to completion.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and customers to ensure works are delivered on time.
• Schedule resources, site visits and contractor activities.
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements including CDM regulations, RAMS, permits and site inductions.
• Monitor project progress and maintain accurate records, reports and site documentation.
• Review site information, identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
• Escalate technical, operational or commercial issues where required.
• Track project actions through to successful completion.
• Provide regular updates and performance reporting to senior management.
