Our client are a small, privately-owned property developer specialising in high-end projects across London. Their developments typically range from 8-15 units of luxurious, high-specification apartments. They pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and style. Currently, they manage 2-3 projects at any given time, ensuring each is completed to the highest standards.

We are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join and lead their team. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of the projects, from initial planning through procurement and final delivery. You will lead a team that includes a Quantity Surveyor (QS) and a Site Manager, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the entire project lifecycle from conception to completion.
  • Managing and coordinating the planning, procurement, and execution phases of high-spec residential projects.
  • Leading and managing the project team, including QS and Site Manager.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Monitoring project progress and performance, making adjustments as needed.
  • Implementing and maintaining health and safety standards on-site.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably within high-end residential projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from cradle to grave.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
