Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK's climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of the new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C (HPC), the Sizewell C Project (SZC) in Suffolk is the UK's next nuclear power new build project. The project has obtained planning approval and has started construction works. It has recently achieved Financial Investment Decision (FID) meaning that all the funding for the full lifespan of the project is now secured and in place guaranteeing the full delivery of this new nuclear power station. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050. We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Balance of Plant (BOP) delivery programme. The Conventional Islands - Balance of Plant (CI-BOP) programs oversees all activities associated with the delivery of engineering contracts up to the value of £100m and securing resources which meet business and technical requirements, ensuring they're delivered safely, on time and within budget. The CI-BOP Programme in turn is divided into three sub-programmes: CI, HSK (Heat Sink) and BOP. As Project Manager you will work closely with especially the Sizewell C supply chain team, the Responsible Designer (RD), the Sizewell C quality team and the suppliers to prepare for and execute the delivery phase of the project. Our Project Manager will focus the Conventional Islands - Balance of Plant (BOP) delivery programme. The Role As Project Manager within the Balance of Plant programme, you'll be in the driving seat, leading a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of critical systems, structures, and components across several buildings and contracts within the BOP area. From engineering through to commissioning, you'll ensure excellence at every stage by:

  • Leading multi-disciplinary teams to achieve seamless delivery.
  • Taking ownership of budgets, schedules, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to manage complex interfaces smoothly.
  • Applying your technical expertise and leadership to uphold the highest standards of execution and compliance.

    You're an experienced Project Professional with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects from concept to completion. You bring a blend of technical know-how and strategic insight across key areas:
  • Engineering & Project Lifecycle - Leading projects from initial design all the way through to commissioning. Commercial Expertise - Managing high-value contracts, controlling costs, and resolving claims with confidence. Risk & Quality Management - Ensuring operational excellence in high-pressure, high-stakes environments. What truly sets you apart is your ability to turn complex technical challenges into clear, actionable strategies. You know how to bring people with you-building trust, engaging stakeholders, and motivating your team to deliver outstanding results.,
  • Background in mechanical, electrical, process, systems, or civil engineering within large-scale industrial plant environments.
  • Proven success in coordinating multi-disciplinary design and procurement activities, with a track record of driving teams to meet key deadlines.
  • Strong grasp of the complexities involved in major projects, particularly in managing interfaces between different scope areas.
  • Experience in project management or project engineering, covering the full lifecycle from concept through to handover.
  • Confident communicator, with the ability to engage effectively in both client-facing and contractor-facing scenarios.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational, and leadership abilities.
