As a dynamic member of Remark’s Project Management team, specialising in AV, security, and workspace technology, you will oversee all aspects of assigned commercial & industrial projects from lead generation through to completion, meeting the project’s goals on time and within budget. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, ensuring that projects are delivered in a manner that exceeds our customers’ expectations and that our installations adhere to all legislative and company health & safety requirements.

The position will require you to organise people, tasks and resources to ensure successful conclusion, and a positive customer experience.

You will be responsible for managing workflows, and a multi-disciplinary dynamic delivery team, comprised of engineering services, scaled to deliver multiple projects at the same time.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, planning, procurement, and execution of AV, security, and workspace technology projects – including: lead generation, business development, procurement, design, planning, risk assessment, commissioning and handover, with a high level of stakeholder management.
  • Develop new business for the Remark Group and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and business development opportunities.
  • Develop detailed project plans, quotations, and customer-specific proposal documentation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Resource planning, to include engineering resource, and delivering multiple time-bound projects within budget.
  • Cost estimating and competitive procurement of both stock and site project material.
  • Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and resolve on-site issues with innovative solutions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting, including post-project reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Participate in resource planning, engineering scheduling, and sales pipeline meetings.
  • Support recurring client services, maintenance, and service contracts.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating where necessary.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and business development opportunities.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with statutory regulations, current industry standards, company quality and health and safety assurance procedures, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 27001 Quality, Environmental and OH&S procedures.

Personal Profile:

To be part of our hard-working and dynamic culture, you should love innovation, and have a genuine passion for technology. You are ambitious, dynamic, and an excellent communicator, confident in representing our multi-discipline business.

Dynamic engineering experience to include designing of AV & Security Systems.

  • Proven experience managing AV, security, or workspace technology projects.
  • Strong listening and superior relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent, proven organisational skills, including strong attention to detail and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical language for clients.
  • Experience undertaking site surveys and specifying systems.
  • Experience preparing and completing quotations and project costings.
  • Material procurement and negotiating skills.
  • Experience using Auto CAD would be advantageous
  • An understanding of electrical systems design and installation would be desirable but not essential
