K10 Apprenticeships Limited is offering an exciting apprenticeship for aspiring Project Managers. Key duties include assisting in scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder management while pursuing an APM qualification. The Thames Water Shared Apprenticeship Scheme are looking for an Apprentice Project Manager. The role will mainly be based in Midsomer Norton but will require regular travel to sites within the Thames Valley and opportunities to work from home.
A Trainee Project Manager works closely with the project team and Senior PM to successfully deliver project outputs. They assist in scheduling, risk management, cost control, stakeholder management, and governance, among others. Strong technical and soft skills are crucial for success in this role. As part of the apprenticeship, all candidates will be undertaking the Association of Project Management Qualification (APMQ). The APM is the only chartered membership organisation for the project profession, so it is recognised worldwide.
Typical Working Week
40 hours p/w with start time typically between 07:00 & 08:00 inclusive of paid 8 hours at college.
Key Training/College Information
K10 will enrol you to the Level 4 Associate Project Management course and fund your qualifications through an accredited training provider.
The apprenticeship duration is 18 months - 24 Months.
Person Specification
Qualifications required/desirable
English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 / C or above, or Functional Skills at Level 2 or above.
