Role Title: Project Manager
Location: Knutsford (only candidates no more than one hour away from the area or willing to relocate)
Duration: 31/12/2025
Days on site: 2-3 days onsite (non-consecutive)
Rate: £415p/d via Umbrella

Role Description

We are looking for someone who has led banking application migrations or enhancements at a major bank.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans and schedules. Allocate resources and manage budgets. Coordinate internal teams and external vendors.
• Team Leadership: Assemble and lead project teams. Delegate tasks and monitor progress. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and issues. Manage expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Risk & Change Management: Identify and mitigate project risks. Manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs. Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Reporting & Documentation: Track project performance using tools like Gantt charts and dashboards. Maintain comprehensive project documentation. Present progress reports and final outcomes to leadership.
