Job summary

BT is seeking a Project Manager (62514) for a security-focused programme. The role requires DV clearance, and is based in a hybrid setup (London or Ipswich). You will lead the PMO and Programme Team, delivering end-to-end customer programmes within BT Security and contributing to governance improvements.

Hybrid work arrangement: 4 days in-office and 1 day remote, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week. DV clearance and UK residency requirements apply.

Qualifications

• DV Security Clearance is required.
• Extensive experience leading end-to-end Programme Teams.
• External certification through Prince/MSP/APM is desirable.

• E2E delivery for all requirements, underpinning growth and NPS.
• Leadership of the Programme Team to provide professional services focusing on innovative design for customers.
• Ensure the Programme team consults with customers to design the most appropriate technical solutions.

Career Grade: D

Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

The PMO Support Office is an integral part of the organisation and is responsible for the lead provision of project office services and support, including Document Management, Risk Management, Quality Management, and Management Reporting. The team also provides secretarial support to selected internal and external boards, including the capture of meeting decisions and ensuring progress on actions arising from meetings. Proactively provides best practice advice, guidance and standards across a range of PMO services under the supervision of a PMO Lead. This includes the implementation and application of agreed governance standards, tools and techniques.

This job role can be based in London or Ipswich. Hybrid (4 days office based & 1 day remote).Mon-Fri 37.5. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.

What you’ll be doing
