DERTOUR UK are looking for a confident Project Manager to join our growing Project team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

DERTOUR UK includes the much-celebrated travel brands Kuoni, Carrier, CV Villas, Kirker, Jules Verne, Journeys Latin America and Solmar. This is great opportunity to work with all of these incredible brands.

The successful Project Manager will be a team player with a sound understanding of the project management methodologies. A background of project management within the travel industry is desired but not essential.

This hybrid role is primarily based at our Dorking Head Office (minimum of 3 days in the office required per week), however this role will involve regular visits to our Solmar office in Burton-on-Trent (travel expenses & hotels will be paid for these visits when required).

The Role:

The Project Manager manages and coordinates projects to meet the needs of the organisation's business goals and targets. Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. You will prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. You will manage projects ensuring deliverables are achieved.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage multiple projects/workstreams through the full project lifecycle.
• Agree and document project scope, providing clear identification of the four main sections: initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner, securing and assigning the right resource to the right tasks.
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and track project costs to meet agreed budgets.
• Ensure all material risks and issues are reported and escalated appropriately.
• Maintain a detailed project schedule and work plan; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Adhere to the DERTOUR UK project management standards.
• Ensure effective stakeholder management and project communication to the business; provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Provide project expertise and support to the business operational teams.
• Oversee the involvement of any third-party partners, ensuring they meet our quality, cost, and timing goals.
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Be a driver of sound and effective project governance across all workstreams.
• Stay up to date with current trends and technological innovations relevant to the business' objectives.
• Actively collaborate with other departments to ensure supplier relationships are well managed and consistent.
• Be positive in undertaking any reasonable duties relevant to the position to ensure the success of the operation.
