Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a project manager to join our highways division to specifically focus on complex roadside and tunnel technology programmes.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Partnering with team/s to produce and manage delivery of site activities.
  • Managing 2-week and 8-week look ahead including daily activity briefings (DABS).
  • Delivering PPC planning and production control update to the wider project team.
  • Managing Inspections trade to trade handovers.
  • Managing and inspecting quality sign-off (QSO) and quality inspection and test plan (QITP).
  • Reviewing and signing off method statements. Updates facade requirements.
  • Chairing and managing design meetings.
  • Delivering internal and external project reporting.
  • Developing effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing stakeholders and seeking opportunities for continuous improvements/improving working processes.
  • Managing a team of professional roles (may include support roles), driving performance and results, whilst delivering performance management, technical development and coaching.
  • Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You'll need to have:

  • Experience managing highway and/or tunnel technology programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage a team.
  • Flexibility to work in either Kent, Guildford, Basingstoke, London.

You'll also have:

  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the highway/tunnelling technology sector.
  • Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Commercial and financial acumen.
  • Experience of working on projects within large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
