If so, join Severn Trent’s River Health & Enhancement Team as a River Health Delivery Project Manager. In this vital and dynamic role, you will help shape and ensure the successful delivery of our Spills Programme to meet performance targets and environmental commitments.
We are looking for multiple River Health Delivery Project Managers across the West Midlands to take on impactful roles that make a tangible difference to river health. This is a fixed-term contract for six months.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We seek an experienced professional to deliver innovative tactical solutions across multiple sites, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with health and safety, financial, and asset standards. You will collaborate with asset and site owners, manage third-party contractors, and oversee the commissioning and validation of solutions to reduce spills. Your responsibilities include solution assessments, site inspections, and producing documentation to support project delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include managing budgets, coordinating stakeholders, identifying spill reduction opportunities, and maintaining governance standards. Key accountabilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced project manager with a background in large, complex, or multi-disciplinary projects, ideally within Waste Networks Operations, Wastewater Recycling, or related engineering fields.
You should have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, working with supply chains and internal teams to meet milestones and quality standards.
You are proactive, forward-thinking, and skilled at anticipating challenges and developing solutions. Proficiency in data analysis tools like Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel is essential. You should be comfortable managing project documentation and leading meetings, workshops, and audits in a fast-paced environment. Experience managing civil, electrical, and instrumentation solutions is desirable.
Ideally, you will have a degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, along with contractor management qualifications. Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.
