EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We seek an experienced professional to deliver innovative tactical solutions across multiple sites, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with health and safety, financial, and asset standards. You will collaborate with asset and site owners, manage third-party contractors, and oversee the commissioning and validation of solutions to reduce spills. Your responsibilities include solution assessments, site inspections, and producing documentation to support project delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include managing budgets, coordinating stakeholders, identifying spill reduction opportunities, and maintaining governance standards. If you are passionate about the environment, continuous improvement, and developing your technical and project management skills, we want to hear from you!

Key accountabilities:

  1. Deliver tactical solutions to optimize wastewater treatment and network performance.
  2. Coordinate with asset and site owners to ensure compliance with health and safety, commercial, and process standards.
  3. Manage third-party contractors for civil, mechanical, and ICA solutions, including oversight of contracts and safety standards.
  4. Coordinate with stakeholders for commissioning, testing, and validation.
  5. Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks.
  6. Lead solution assessments and buildability reviews.
  7. Gather and analyze data to support solution development and produce documentation for approval.
  8. Identify additional spill reduction opportunities and verify effectiveness.
  9. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders for design and site coordination.
  10. Manage project budgets and track expenditures.
  11. Monitor project progress, ensuring quality and governance standards are met.
  12. Collaborate with the Programme Coordinator for reporting and compliance.
  13. Continuously develop technical and project management skills.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced project manager with a background in large, complex, or multi-disciplinary projects, ideally within Waste Networks Operations, Wastewater Recycling, or related engineering fields.

You should have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, working with supply chains and internal teams to meet milestones and quality standards.

You are proactive, forward-thinking, and skilled at anticipating challenges and developing solutions. Proficiency in data analysis tools like Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel is essential. You should be comfortable managing project documentation and leading meetings, workshops, and audits in a fast-paced environment. Experience managing civil, electrical, and instrumentation solutions is desirable.

Ideally, you will have a degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, along with contractor management qualifications. Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.

We value individuals who show initiative, want to be part of something bigger, and care about making a difference.
