We are looking for a Project Manager in our office in Warrington, UK.

What is the role about?

As a Project Manager at IPS, you will be responsible for planning and managing a range of packages and/or complete projects, from small improvements to large-scale projects. Your role involves collaborating with the Project Team, applying IPS project management methodologies, and utilizing the best available project management tools to help our customers achieve their goals.

The management of your projects may include multiple phases and specializations:

  1. Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan.
  2. Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.
  3. Project realization phase: project management, detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a project manager and/or project engineer.
  • Experience in process or utilities sectors.
  • Knowledge and experience in CDM regulations and UK regulations.
  • Experience across the complete project lifecycle, including master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works, main infrastructure needs, contracting, construction management, and supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks requiring various skills and to prioritize tasks appropriately.
