Premier Engineering is working with a well-established engineering company based in Maidenhead that is looking to hire a mechanically biased Project Manager. Experience in the water industry is beneficial for this role.

The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • A degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, etc.).
  • Strong mechanical engineering background with proven project management experience.
  • Experience managing projects from design to installation and commissioning.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in the water industry or related sectors is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make critical project decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office.

The Project Manager role will involve:

  • Leading and managing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Working closely with design, manufacturing, and installation teams.
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Identifying and resolving technical and project-related challenges.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and health & safety standards.
