Job summary

ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for Warehouse Automation (Hybrid, UK). You will transform complex automation concepts into fully operational warehouse systems, leading cross‑functional teams and ensuring performance targets are met.

You will manage project delivery from sales handoff to customer handover, maintain stakeholder relationships, assess risks, and drive timely, high‑quality outcomes across international contexts.

Qualifications

  • Degree in mechanical, industrial, logistics, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in intralogistics or automation.
  • Knowledge of PMI, Prince2, IPMA; certification preferred.
  • Experience in material handling; AutoStore familiarity is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of intralogistics and logistics processes.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Strong health and safety knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Basic electrical and data networking knowledge.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong project structure from kick‑off through milestones, updates, and critical deadlines
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery
  • Act as the connector across all contributors, ensuring alignment and clarity
  • Take full financial responsibility for project performance
  • Provide regular status and progress reporting to project teams and stakeholders
  • Guide customers through project completion and handover to Customer Success

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in intralogistics or automation technology.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Prince, IPMA); certification preferred.
  • Experience in the material handling industry; familiarity with AutoStore is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of intralogistics and logistics processes.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety requirements.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Basic electrical and data networking knowledge.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
