Job description

Project Manager

We have a position vacant for a Project Manager to predominantly cover projects in the South West. Responsible for running the project from a hand over meeting with the sales department through to the contracts practical completion and issue of O&M manual.

Tasks involved in the role are as follows, but not limited to:-

  • Creation of questionnaires(electrical & valve)
  • Collating technical information to assist in the control panel design
  • Selecting and procuring loose controls
  • Tendering and employing sub-contractors
  • Creation of the Description of Operation
  • Raising applications/invoices in accordance with the contract
  • Producing risk assessments and method statements
  • Attend site meetings as and when required
  • Creation of a commissioning pack for on site engineers
  • Managing costs for the contract
  • Day to day contractual correspondence and understanding contractual law
  • Produce O&M manual.

The successful candidate will need to have an understanding of building management systems(Trend & Distech) and have the capacity to manage multiple contracts in demanding timeframes and be able to communicate with clients, to the satisfaction of the client. Previous on site commissioning experience preferred but not essential. Knowledge of Microsoft office 365 is preferred but not essential, good literacy and numeracy skills are paramount. An understanding of ACAD is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Salary dependent upon previous experience from GBP55,000.00 - GBP65,000.00, company pension scheme and profit related bonus scheme.
