This permanent role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-speed zero-emission projects and propulsion systems, driving the decarbonisation of the maritime industry.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, mature, and manage projects within programmes.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects and teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Act as the point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders for assigned projects.
  • Manage suppliers and sub-contractors effectively.
  • Develop detailed plans and timelines for projects and ensure alignment with overall program goals.
  • Track progress, identify risks and issues, and report deviations from plans promptly.
  • Proactively problem-solve and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or issues.
  • Report project status and progress to senior stakeholders regularly.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Support and assist the Head of New Product Introduction with all aspects of project management.


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in project management or leadership roles, preferably in innovative engineering and manufacturing environments.
  • Planning and scheduling experience, including critical path analysis.
  • Experience managing risks, opportunities, and issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to track and report project progress effectively.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices, tools, and methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project (or similar scheduling tools).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Proactive approach and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Relevant project management qualifications or certifications (e.g., APMP, PRINCE2).
