Job description

Project Manager / Rail / Civil-Engineering

• We have an immediate requirement for a freelance Project Manager to work directly for a multi-disciplined Rail & Civil-Engineering contractor
• The position will be working outside of IR35 and will be mostly remote working with occasional site visits
• The role will involve supporting the contractor on a rail programme working closely with Network Rail and a specialist sub-contractor
• This would be leading a GBP3m portfolio of works on a major rail line running from the South of the UK to the North
• Key requirement of the position will involve managing the program, coordinating & reporting to Network Rail, managing the specialist contractor, overseeing documentation, H&S and management of the site team
• Previous experience working for a contractor directly with Network Rail will be essential
