Job summary

Franklin Fitch is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive Security Operations projects within a hybrid UK environment. You will own the full lifecycle, align with senior stakeholders, and deliver strategic change across modern enterprise environments.

You will manage complex cyber security initiatives, coordinate diverse teams, and ensure governance and value delivery. The role requires strong communication, budgeting, and risk management within SOC/Managed Services contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating in SOC/Security and Managed Services environments.
• Proven success delivering multi-disciplinary projects with significant budgets and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with PMO teams in structured governance environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of complex Cybersecurity-focused projects from initiation through to completion, e.g SOC transformation, maturity, and onboarding.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines and success criteria in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, resources and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution across multiple workstreams.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation plans.
• Establish governance, reporting and performance tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams and external suppliers.
• Support organisational change by ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
• Ensure projects comply with internal governance, regulatory requirements and delivery standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by promoting best practices across project delivery.

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering Security Operations projects?

This is an excellent opportunity to manage high-impact projects, collaborate with senior stakeholders and play a key role in delivering strategic change across modern enterprise environments.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the full project lifecycle, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver technology projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with business leaders, technical teams and third-party suppliers, you'll ensure projects deliver measurable business value while maintaining strong governance and stakeholder engagement.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrable success delivering multi-disciplinary projects with significant budgets and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Experience working alongside PMO teams and within structured governance environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, Agile or equivalent project management certifications are desirable.
