My client are a leading Management Consultancy company seeking a results–driven Construction Project Manager to take the lead on upcoming leisure and recreational facility projects across the Country.
About the Role:
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all phases of the construction process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. You ll oversee contractors, consultants, and internal teams while acting as the key liaison between clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of new–build leisure centre projects (swimming pools, sports halls, gyms, wellness areas, etc.)
Manage project lifecycle: planning, procurement, construction, handover
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and local authorities
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and building standards
Control project budgets, timelines, and resources
Report progress to senior leadership and stakeholders
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience delivering at least one completed leisure centre project (ideally from groundworks to handover)
5+ years in construction project management
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Sound knowledge of UK building regulations and procurement practices
Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Asta, etc.)
SMSTS and CSCS (Black Card) desirable
