Trafford Council is seeking a Project Manager within the Transformation Team to support the delivery of revenue and capital projects, ensuring benefits for residents. You will work closely with the Business Intelligence Unit and cross‑directorate teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: 36.25 hours per week

As a Project Manager in the Transformation Team, you will support the delivery of key work priorities across the Council to deliver both revenue and capital projects which achieve corporate and borough wide benefits.
The role benefits from working within a large Transformation team, which delivers projects at pace and in a timely manner to deliver a range of outcomes that support the three corporate priorities and both directorate investment led activity or options for savings and change.
You will be linked directly with the Business Intelligence Unit, interconnected with our Policy and Intelligence & Insight colleagues.
You will need demonstrable experience of stakeholder management and collaborating across services and organisations, delivering to deadlines, working within a budget, and possessing strong project and change management, risk management, process mapping, business analysis and communication skills.
Ideally, you will have experience of working on projects within a complex organisation, using recognised project management methodology.
You will need to be eager to apply previous skills and experience to new challenges and be capable of establishing and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships across the team, organisation and partnerships.
You should hold a minimum of a degree level or equivalent qualification/ experience in a related subject and a commitment to your own and others personal development.
