Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for commercial projects across the Torbay to Plymouth area. The role involves managing electrical installations from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality and budget compliance on a varied portfolio of projects.

You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain client and stakeholder relationships. NHS/healthcare exposure is valued but not required; ECS and SMSTS credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager.
• Strong commercial and project management experience.
• Experience delivering commercial electrical projects.
• NHS / healthcare experience highly desirable but not essential.
• ECS card essential.
• SMSTS essential.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing electrical projects across the Torbay, South Devon and Plymouth areas.
• Overseeing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Monitoring programme, costs and project delivery.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Attending site meetings and providing regular project updates.

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking for your next opportunity across the South West?

Our client is a well-established electrical contractor delivering a range of commercial projects across the Torbay to Plymouth area, and they are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team.

Experience working on NHS, healthcare and commercial/industrial projects would be highly advantageous.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing electrical projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing electrical projects across the Torbay, South Devon and Plymouth areas
• Overseeing projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
• Monitoring programme, costs and project delivery
• Ensuring all works are completed to the required quality and safety standards
• Attending site meetings and providing regular project updates
• Managing project documentation, RAMS and health & safety requirements
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
