£71,000 – £79,000 + car / car allowance

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead major improvement works at Sonning Cutting – a mile-long stretch of railway between Reading and Twyford. This project is part of the CP7 Framework, focusing on strengthening earthworks and drainage to boost resilience against severe weather.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead and develop a project team, setting clear objectives and ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high safety/quality standards
  • Act as the senior site representative, working closely with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage designers and subcontractors, ensuring procurement, schedules and targets are met
  • Oversee compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation, carrying out site inspections and incident reviews
  • Drive project profitability while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Use NEC4 contract expertise to navigate challenges, disputes and risk
  • Support the team’s development through coaching and training
