Reports to: Head of Programmes

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a creative and dynamic Project Manager working hybrid in Swansea with an international training and professional development institution. They are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join the programmes team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of programmes and events, executing and maintaining project plans and documentation, resources, and information systems. You will track, monitor, and evaluate existing projects, assessing their impact while also providing research and insights into potential opportunities.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

1. Provide full lifecycle project support to all programmes with a creative approach.
2. Develop, implement, and proactively manage clear and effective project plans in a dynamic environment.
3. Coordinate the setup and management of programmes and pilots, including resources, licensing, courses, collateral, webcasts, partners, communications, reports, and stakeholder management.
4. Identify project risks, report on risk management activities, and document lessons learned for analysis and improvement.
5. Liaise with internal stakeholders and manage programme schedules based on region.
6. Produce impact reports using effective monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment practices.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Project Manager role or as a lead project management professional.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects with short- and long-term deadlines.
• Experience managing projects from planning to closure.
• Proficiency with various project management tools, methodologies, software, templates, and processes, with the ability to adapt them as needed.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent IT skills and proficiency in MS Office.
