The Enterprise Project Management Office is fundamental in delivering the overarching strategic change programme for the University. Sitting within the wider Technical Service area, the PMO team has Project Management, Process Improvement and Enterprise Architecture capabilities supporting all areas of the institution. Change Management wraps around all work we deliver.
About the role
We are currently recruiting a Project Manager on a 2-year fixed term basis to support the University change programme, delivering successful projects and change initiatives.
The role is unique as it encompasses Project Management, Process Improvement and Change Management initiatives. Project Managers manage multiple projects at any time, working across any or multiple service or faculty areas.
Please note that, although a hybrid position, this role will require a presence on our Sunderland Campus, and so the successful candidate must be able to work from Sunderland on a regular basis.
What you can bring
We are looking for experience in Project Management, Process Improvement and/or Change Management, with a proven record of delivering successful outcomes. You are organised and methodical in your approach to work, prioritising work appropriately with the ability to coordinate and facilitate the resolution of complex business problems.
You are motivated, enthusiastic, and a passionate team member, with the ability to be flexible, have excellent organisational skills and excel at building relationships. Professionalism, positive influencing, and excellent communication skills are all essential to this role.
