Job Title: Project Manager

As the Project Manager, you will oversee the scoping, planning, design, and execution of projects within the Healthcare Service distribution centre. Your role will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, all in alignment with the business strategy.

The role is hybrid working with 3 days in the office, and 2 days working from home.

Due to the urgent nature of this project, we are looking for a candidate who can start immediately or within a short timeframe.

We are open to offering flexible working days, with a minimum of 3 days per week. The specific hours and days will be discussed during the interview stage to ensure a good fit for both yourself and Bestway Healthcare.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain project plans and budgets to meet stakeholder requirements and ensure that specific deadlines and milestones are agreed and communicated.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential obstacles.
  3. Manage and monitor the progress of projects against the business strategy and performance measures—time, cost, benefit delivery, and quality requirements.
  4. Identify and agree on the strategic requirements of all key stakeholders to establish overall project scope, including deliverables, outcomes, change requirements, and desired business benefits.
  5. Develop, lead, and coach cross-functional project teams to drive good project and change management disciplines, improving change execution throughout the business.
  6. Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring they are recorded adequately.
  7. Manage change control within the project using appropriate tools.
  8. Provide project control and monitoring to ensure delivery within agreed time, cost, benefit, and quality parameters.
  9. Lead stakeholder management, reporting, and governance processes, ensuring key stakeholders are engaged and projects have appropriate oversight and decision-making authority.
  10. Maximize efficiency and value for money through robust cost management, including budget planning, forecasting, and resource utilization.

Problem Solving & Change

  • Manage a matrix team to ensure successful delivery.
  • Determine timeframe and resource requirements to meet delivery objectives on time and within budget.
  • Adapt to conflicting stakeholder requirements flexibly.
  • Implement impact changes on a weekly and monthly basis, with regular reviews.
  • Enjoy detailed complex business planning.
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and conflicting priorities.

Key Knowledge and Skills

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana). Proven experience managing projects in warehouse, distribution, or logistics environments, and building professional relationships internally and externally. Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills to deliver targets.
