Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Reference: J89393

Venn Group is recruiting a Construction Project Manager on a permanent contract to join a well-established and award-winning construction company based in North Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of projects and play a key role in delivering high-quality construction outcomes.

You will manage projects from inception to completion, acting as the primary client contact to ensure timely delivery, budget control, and quality standards are met.

Location: St Asaph (site based)

Hours: 42.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent

The duties will include:

  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring on-time and cost-effective delivery
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work programmes
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project alignment
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and labour for optimal resource use
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and contractual obligations
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to maintain cost control and contractual compliance
  • Oversee quality control, safety, and adherence to design specifications
  • Manage and lead teams including contractors and subcontractors
  • Capture and share knowledge, driving process improvements
  • Maintain effective financial management throughout projects
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
  • Degree or HNC in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification
  • Valid SMSTS and First Aid certificates
  • Strong understanding of building regulations, construction contracts, and industry standards
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and subcontractors
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Full UK driving licence
