Job description

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join a global water firm, in a permanent position. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis (2–3 days a week) on site in Southampton. This is a great opportunity to work on water and wastewater treatment plants.

–Competitive salary: 60–000– 70,000 (depending on experience).

Hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

–Lead safe, high–quality project execution from planning to completion, ensuring proper documentation and controls.

–Ensure trained staff are available and accountable; manage resources, records, and commercial forecasts.

–Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers to protect the company's reputation.

–Enforce safety, quality, and environmental standards; support ongoing professional development.

–Apply strong project management and technical knowledge across water and wastewater projects.

What we are looking for:

Experienced in leading multi–disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally in the water sector.

Degree in a relevant field, PMQ or equivalent; chartership and NEC accreditation are desirable.

Skilled in NEC/IChemE contracts, CDM, Health & Safety, and civil engineering.

Strong communicator with experience managing stakeholders and leading governance reviews.

Proficient in risk management, project delivery, and aligning teams to time, cost, and quality goals.
