A leading global water firm seeks a Project Manager for a permanent position in Southampton. The role involves overseeing project execution in water and wastewater treatment, requiring strong project management skills and experience in multi-disciplinary projects. This hybrid role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join a global water firm, in a permanent position. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis (2–3 days a week) on site in Southampton. This is a great opportunity to work on water and wastewater treatment plants.
–Competitive salary: 60–000– 70,000 (depending on experience).
–Hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
–Lead safe, high–quality project execution from planning to completion, ensuring proper documentation and controls.
–Ensure trained staff are available and accountable; manage resources, records, and commercial forecasts.
–Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers to protect the company's reputation.
–Enforce safety, quality, and environmental standards; support ongoing professional development.
–Apply strong project management and technical knowledge across water and wastewater projects.
What we are looking for:
–Experienced in leading multi–disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally in the water sector.
–Degree in a relevant field, PMQ or equivalent; chartership and NEC accreditation are desirable.
–Skilled in NEC/IChemE contracts, CDM, Health & Safety, and civil engineering.
–Strong communicator with experience managing stakeholders and leading governance reviews.
–Proficient in risk management, project delivery, and aligning teams to time, cost, and quality goals.
