Project Manager – Shrewsbury

An opportunity has arisen to join a leading construction main contractor for an exciting and prestigious project. As the Project Manager, you will be working for a reputable and thriving main contractor managing a multimillion-pound project. You will be responsible for delivering the end product on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards. To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have previous experience working for a tier one main contractor and have recently managed the full lifecycle of a Healthcare scheme. Other relevant sectors include Student Accommodation, Universities, and Schools.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and develop the overall strategy for the project.
  2. Manage and maintain a clear staffing structure.
  3. Procure materials, plant, and sub-contractors.
  4. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with all HS&E and site Health, Safety, and Environmental Plans.
  5. Mitigate legal issues and defects liability for the business.
  6. Liaise with Contracts Managers monthly, as well as with clients and end users.
Skills:
  1. Previous experience managing large-value commercial schemes.
  2. CSCS, First Aid at Work, SMSTS certifications.
  3. Relevant degree or equivalent construction-related qualification.
  4. 21+ P22 experience.
  5. UK Driving Licence.
