The Company

A privately owned Main Contractor that is working on a framework delivering leisure and education refurbishment projects across Sheffield.


The Role

Project managing multiple fast-paced refurbishments to buildings ranging in value from £50k to £1.5 million across South Yorkshire.


Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

As the Project Manager you must possess the following:


  • Prior experience within the construction industry working for a Main Contractor for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Prior experience with refurbishment projects between £50k - £1.5m.
  • A good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks, and obligations.
  • Well organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the works.

Duties

  • Formulate, develop and monitor a program of works.
  • Setting up and chairing sub-contractor and client progress meetings throughout the construction period.
  • Manage day to day operational aspects of the project(s).
  • Reviewing all contractor RAM's.
  • Assist the Commercial Director with project costings.
  • Ensure quality is controlled and maintained through the projects.
  • Manage successful handover of projects and the aftercare that follows.
