4Site Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a high-spec office fit out project in Sheffield. The successful candidate will lead the project from pre-start to handover, ensuring safety and quality. This role requires a proven track record in project management within the construction sector, especially in office fit-outs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager, ideally in office fit-outs.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and H&S legislation.
  • Full lifecycle project experience from pre-start to handover.

Responsibilities

  • Lead subcontractor pre-start meetings and manage full project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards during execution.
  • Compile and manage subcontractor snagging lists for project completion.

About the Role:
4Site Recruitment are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-spec office fit out in Sheffield. This role involves overseeing the project from pre-start through to final handover, ensuring it’s delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Start:

Lead subcontractor pre-start meetings and take minutes

Set up the site in line with the PCI (Pre-Construction Information)

Prepare and organise all site documentation

On Site:

Manage full project delivery in line with scope, programme, and quality targets

Conduct site inductions and approve all RAMS

Chair subcontractor meetings and record actions

Ensure day-to-day site activity complies with health & safety standards

Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants

Track progress against the programme and report any deviations

Conduct interim snagging, testing, and void closures using Site Audit Pro or similar

Project Completion:

Compile and manage subcontractor snagging lists

Ensure all snags are resolved ahead of handover

Ensure the site is “sparkle clean” for final handover

Requirements

5+ years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager, ideally in office fit-outs

Full lifecycle project experience from pre-start to handover

Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management, and H&S legislation

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

Competent with MS Office and project tracking software
