Job Overview

• The Project Manager is responsible for overall project execution and management of delivery teams (internal and external) for defined projects.
• Responsible for managing all aspects of individual projects, including subcontracts, coordinating resources and technical support, managing supply chain issues, compiling a target-cost programme and presenting a monthly review to the Management Team, with an overall brief to ensure on-time delivery, in a safe manner and within defined budgets.

Main Duties

• To perform all duties in line with the Company's HSQE Policies and Procedures.
• Demonstrate proactive, effective, individual and collective SHE leadership and promote enthusiastic SHE culture. Manage safety through early development incorporating life cycle designs that minimise risk to personnel.
• Lead the team, including specialist subcontractors, through all stages of the project to successful completion.
• Manage the team and site activities to ensure that projects meet the key programme milestones and the requirements of the employer deliverables.
• Responsible for approving the scope of works, the plan, and the target cost for each element of the project the PM is assigned to, providing clear leadership to the Project Team and controlling activities against budget.
• Optimise the resource plan in conjunction with key stakeholders. Drive performance, actively seeking to improve and optimise delivery methods. Provide a professional and consistent approach for the management and execution of major projects.
• Develop effective working relationships with supply chain representatives and the commercial team to ensure projects are cost-effective and efficient.
• Ensure buildable solutions are approved and handed over to the civil construction teams in line with programme expectations.
• Carry out site and factory inspections as appropriate and agree benchmarks on quality.
• Manage witnessing and inspections during the commissioning phase of the works.
• Conduct and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Produce regular reports to senior management, including financial data, KPIs, and a summary of progress with business objectives.
• Ensure a positive customer experience through the delivery of excellent customer service and projects delivered on time and within budget.

What we are looking for

• HNC or HND in relevant engineering discipline.
• Ideally experienced in SAP 11kV/33kV.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience within project management on 11kV/33kV Networks.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Good written, verbal, and presentation skills.
