About the Opportunity

We're looking for a talented and driven Project Manager to take the lead on a major earthworks project based on the Isle of Lewis.

This is an exciting, high-impact role within a well-established civil engineering contractor known for delivering high-quality, innovative infrastructure projects across the UK.

As Project Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operations — driving performance, inspiring teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible standards.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the full lifecycle of a major civil engineering project, from planning to completion.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Managing budgets, commercial controls and project reporting.
  • Supervising and mentoring on-site teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Overseeing all technical and operational aspects of project delivery.
What You'll Bring
  • Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline).
  • Proven experience managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Previous experience in earthworks projects (advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong technical knowledge of civil site activities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
