V7 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for our client, a property investment and management company who specialise in student accommodation refurbishment projects! This is a great role for someone with consultancy and on-site experience.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Support coordination of capital projects (£1m-£15m).
  • Working with the Senior PM on the project delivery.
  • Work on the project across all RIBA stages.
  • Assist in developing project and group-level specifications.
  • Coordinate and manage consultant panels (PQS, Architects, etc.) under framework agreements.
  • Help set project budgets and manage capex/fees from pre-acquisition to completion.
  • Assist in procuring reports and cost plans for funding approvals, including commercial negotiations.
  • Help manage supply chain, contractors, and consultants to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Support contract tendering, procurement strategies, and contract administration.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with Development and Facility Agreements.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience managing refurb or fit-out projects.
  • Experience in Student Accommodation would be preferable.
  • Strong understanding of the relevant H&S legislation.
  • Strong understanding of the project lifecycle.
  • Confident in budget management and programme tracking.
  • Solid knowledge of UK building regulations.
  • Strong understanding of JCT building contracts and contract administration.
